[Sharing is fun] – Levels shader a-la photoshop

Continuing the 2 for 1 tradition Wesley started (and, shit, we cant
let him steal the limelight for too long :) ), here is a GPU
accelerated Levels (basically, like jit.charmap) shader. Ive included
some of the code posted from the “jitter needs a curve drawing tool”
thread to implement a tool similar to photoshops interface, as well
as the basic low, mids and highs luma and RGB controls that Levels
has in Photoshop.

While a pretty basic shader, its very fast (uses a look up table),
and since it does not have the input range and tolerance limitation
that Adobe forces on you, some very cool looks can be made. Try it.
Its kind of addicting to color correct things and make your footage
looks nice. Great at the end of an effects chain.

Enjoy -

Hah. I just noticed the cc.colormap shader – not sure how I missed
that. Doh. Oh well, my help file is cooler :)
