after a while my max-program crashed and I couldn't figure out why. The compressed patch shows the reason...

Actually as a thougthful and careful programmer no one would patch a chord like that. But as you can see it was encapsulated and somehow hidden.

My question/petition for Max-Software-Developers:

Is it possible to throw an error-message in cases like that?

Because flonum sends a msg (as shown below)
