Hi, I’m new to MaxMSP and I have a question about tracking motions. The idea is a camera would track a user and turn their body into a silhouette which would be projected onto a screen. There would also be predetermined static silhouettes projected onto the same screen and the user is supposed to move their body so their silhouette matches the pose shown on the screen.

I looked around and found references to frame-differencing to track the user position. Is that the best way to go about doing this? Also, how would one check if the tracked silhouette matches the predetermined one?
