Silly question but what is the # argument for?
I can't seem to find the answer in the tutorials or reference but saw it in a multiply box for the simple Frequency Modulation patch, is it just the same as a variable argument?
Excuse my dullness and thanks.
Search for "# argument" in Max help. (That's not intended to be a smart-*ss answer. It's actually not so easy to find in Max help without knowing the right search string to type in.")
a search on the forums would bring up even more info, if only "#" could be searched for.
Do you mean #1, #2, etc...?
It's a placeholder for use in an abstraction.
cheers for the help guys was exactly what I was looking for.
