Hi. I think this should be an easy fix, I'm just overlooking something. I want to be able to record audio into a buffer that I will later be looping via a midi controller. For example, I simply want to push record, hum a note into a microphone, stop recording, then be able to play that audio back on the keyboard. That's all good so far, now I want to be able to loop that audio as long as I'm holding down the key on the midi controller. I'm also cool with that, the only problem is that I have the buffer set for say 10 seconds (because I have no idea how long the sound I decide to record will be) so when I use groove~ to loop it, it has to play through that whole 10 seconds, most of which I didn't even record to.

Basically... How do I record audio and as soon as I hit stop the buffer changes to only include the length of time that audio sample lasts with no extra time at the end.

Hopefully I explained that well, I can try to put a simple patch together if needed.
