Simple Sensor-to-Music Trigger Help

May 14, 2014 | 8:57 am

Hi all,
I am writing a very simple application that senses when someone has entered a space, then triggers a specific sound. I have most all the patch created, with the exception of one tiny key part. I am looking for an object (sort of on the lines of a onebang) to see that a value greater than 200 has been received, then trigger the sound sequence (once), wait for the sequence to complete, then continue looking for values greater than 200. The key is that the system waits for the completion of the sequence. I’ve attached the code bellow. I know there is a super simple fix out there, just am having trouble finding it.

Cheers.

Hi
your patch seems to have everything you need, apart from the objects [onebang] or [togedge].

Search the helpfiles for advice on how to apply them.

Thanks Brendan,

I actually just figured it out, I threw a gate in front of the >200 and a change +1 after, straight into a sel 1, and wambam, it works. I’ll look in to togedge though, I’ve never used that before.

Cheers.
