Skype also has an API, but I haven’t worked with it to know how hard it would be to integrate into Max.

I always thought Max could make a great alternative app to Skype too… :) all the tools are there…

works very well! i can now record a conversation in skype, that bounces an avi file down, and then i can open this up in a max patch. has really helped my patch!
