I’m brewing on a patch which uses a skypein incoming call as a bang trigger for video playback. Any ideas on how to get the best comunication going between skypein and max?

I’m not sure if you can get the information you need like that, but it might be worth a go.

If you can make use of it, you can get audio from Skype using Soundflower. I’ve not really tried to get video from it before, but I suppose you could use [jit.desktop] or maybe Syphon (not sure on that one).

I don’t need any audio or video from skype, just the end call and answer call commands. So one of these http://www.mysticcoders.com/blog/calling-via-skype-using-launchbar-with-applescript/ will do just fine :-)
