slider limit

does anyone know how to set or change the limit on a gain slider?i have three different lengths of delays.could this be causing the peaks?

Until you do the tutorials, I don’t think that your questions will contain enough information to be answerable.

ya ive been doing the tutorials but i cant come up with a solution for my problem.surely though there isnt too many ways to change the range on a gain slider?im just extremely frustrated with this.

The gain~ slider has a bunch of gain built into it. Turning it all the way up will often clip things. It is set up so that a 0-127 input range goes from maximum attenuation to full scale output.

A quick and dirty way to get sliders that can be set to the top safely, is to hide the gain~ sliders, and use a regular slider set to 0-127 to control the gain~ slider.

Harder is playing with the log increment and log scale values to get a range you like.

maybe you are looking for a limiter to contain the feedback?
(i gather this from you mentioning (tapins and feedback)
take a look at omx.peaklim~

and maybe learn to be a bit more specific with your questions.
its easy to figure that you are frustrated, but hard to offer help, if you can´t explain why.
