small jit.qt.grab question

hi, im working for a while on a (very nice) Intel imac.
i cant find the command to change the format of my unibrain iidc compliant
camera.
in dx.grab @format 7 works for y800 and getforamtlist tells all format..

just a good thread on cameras:

hello,
this thread is rather old but i do have the very same problem and the link posted above is dead. is there any solution for this?

how do i change the format (UYVY/Y800/BY8, framerate and resolution) in jit.qt.grab?

i’m using an imaging source dfk31af03 camera and UYVY works fine but only up to 15 fps. with the proprietary ASTROIIDC-driver (http://www.outcastsoft.com/ASCASTROIIDC.html) i get 30 fps easily but i do not think i will be able to use that driver from max msp (plus it’s not for free).

any help is really appreciated a LOT!
thanks in advance
karl
