some jit.window questions and stuff

Hi,
tomorrow friday (it seems that everything tends to be very last mminute here) I have to do some visuals for a club in ghent.
I’m trying to get stuff organized and came across a little problem.
I wanted to make one 2560×768 jit.window to spread across to 16:9 beamers with a native resolution of 1280×768.
But the max window gives me an error:

? error: jit.window: couldn’t build gl context.

so I’m asking if this a limitation of jit.window?

Can I correct this by using 2 jit.windows of 1280×768 and setting their position that they are next to eachother and what about delays syncy probs?

without looking at the patch… are the outputs going to the beamers
on two different graphics cards?
OpenGL doesn’t like to spread a single display context across
different physical cards. if such is the case, make your interface
on one card, and use the (strongest) card with dual outputs to drive
the beamer outputs.

One other tip: make sure you position and place your spanning
display window, BEFORE sending and bangs or signals to the display.

I guess it’s a bit of a bad idea to get 6 diffrent matrixes loaded at first with 6diffrent images of 10240×3072 pixels and then use a random selecter to do stuff with them afterwards (I’m only using the srcdimensions of it to ‘fly over’ the images displaying only a small part of them

is there any better way to do this?
