Soundflower 1.6.6b on OS X 10.9.1

February 8, 2014 | 7:41 am

Hi,

as others have pointed out before me I understand that SoundFlower is not a supported product. However I wonder if anybody else has encountered the problem described below.

I installed Soundflower 1.6.6b on OS X 10.9.1 Clean instal and it worked without a flaw. All of a sudden as of beginning of february it started to crash as soon as launched (launched at login) with the following message in the console:

08/02/2014 15:29:56,525 Soundflowerbed[504]: *** Assertion failure in -[NSMenu itemAtIndex:], /SourceCache/AppKit/AppKit-1265/Menus.subproj/NSMenu.m:865

)

I uninstalled Soundflower using the provided script. Restarted my iMac. Reinstalled sound flower. Restarted my iMac. Got the same error message.

The strange thing is, applications using Soundflower are still working.

Has anybody experienced the same problem?

Regards.

Alain.
