What I want to do is send sound from streaming audio online into my iTunes Library.

NOW, HOW DO I DO IT? WHAT DO I DO FIRST AND IN WHAT ORDER?

Also, stupid but necessary questions.

1. Is there any way to adjust the volume of the audio Soundflower captures, or is that preset at the source and can’t be changed?

2. If it is preset, is it even necessary to leave the speakers on while playing the streaming audio? Can you just check to make sure it’s playing, then turn the speakers off, and still obtain the audio? Or will Soundflower not “understand” if the noise is not “out loud” and capture a bunch of silence?
