Spectroscope to jitter window?

March 16, 2008 | 5:45 am

IS it possible to output the spectroscope to a jitter window or quicktime? Even if it’s not real time?

I’d like to play a sound file and capture the window’s output.

you could use jit.desktop to capture the spectroscope. Probably not the
best solution, but it would work.

Thanks Jean Francois. I just saw that thread and it’s pretty darn close to what I was looking for. I think between the technique in that thread and the jit.desktop that Bryan pointed out, I should be able to get close to what I want. I’m just trying to use Max/Jitter to make some interesting graphics for use in After Effects. So realtime is not important.

slightly OT, if you are offline rendering you can check the form pulgin for
AfterEffects. the guys at trapcode make nice plugins in general and this one
ofers great visuals and customization, with matrix sensebilites that should
make sense to a jitter user.
