When dealing with large video files it would helpful so I dont try to throw content before the buffering is finished.

if you need further explanation, search the forum for something like “sync jit.qt.movie groove~”.

what is the nitty gritty of why spigot is so different from loading into a buffer~ object? seems that they would be essentially the same action….does spigot send to a disk cache and buffer use RAM?
