standalone Vs collective

Hi everyone…
taking account of the new max update – what would be the main advantages of creating standalone against a Collective?

You will not be as subject to new bugs or changes of functionality which appear from one update to the next. The standalone will work as is for all time(or as long as your computer’s OS updates and chipset will allow) because the runtime, at its current version upon building, is permanently embedded in the app. If you use a Collective, the runtime versions may change and therefore Collectives are more subject to fluctuations in functionality from version to version.

The drawback is file size(Collectives are smaller), and of course, being stuck with the same version of Runtime.
