standalone with vst~

January 18, 2007 | 5:56 pm

Hello,

I am trying to build a standalone with vst~ (on mac os x, max/msp
4.6.2) but when I open the standalone application and choose a plugin
to open I get this error:

Pluggo: Loading effect delay
error: plugconfig: No such object
error: #C: no such object
.
.
.
.
error: pp: No such object
.
.
.
.
error: plugout~: No such object
error: plugin~: No such object
delay.vst has 0 parameters

I should mention that the same plugin opens fine from the patch but
not in the standalone version.

Any suggestion is very much appreciated
Thanks in advance
Peiman

Hi,

A first suggeston:
Have you added the "C74 Plug-in Support" folder in the "File Preferences" dialog from the Options menu?

Bye,
Philippe

Hi Philippe,

Thanks for your reply. Adding the "C74 Plug-in Support" folder
doesn’t seem to solve the problem. I just realized you can add the
plug… and pp externals by hand when building the standalone and it
seems to work after that.

Thanks again

Check this thread (it’s always worth searching the forum and/or list archives first ;-):

Making an alias in the standalone’s folder to the C74 Plugin support folder worked for me,
cheers

Nice! Otherwise, doing so would have been my 2nd suggestion ;-)

Cheers,
Philippe
