just that, It’s taking me more time to learn MSP than what I thought. every thing is ok with Max, but as I want to do somethings seemed to ableton live I don’t know where to start with.

I know that play and buffer objects are my best friends… but I need some “starting patches” as example.

fundamentally I’m interested on looping, and capturing and manipulating audio in real time.

any patches-links-suggestions??

don’t forget, man, groove- object.

I understand your wanting to move to live for immediate results, I
don’t see the harm in that obviously, but don’t give up on Max! Use
Live to get things done while you learn Max. You might try developing
plugins to run in Live via pluggo. Eventually you’ll find that Live
is too rigid for the things you’d like to do and that you can do
everything (and much more!) that you want in Max. At least that was
my experience.

Don’t give up, it’s well worth it!

lyons potpourry has an object called el.player- which makes some basic but interest (for me) things, even when I can not modify de path itself.

in 5 months I have been able to integrate max into my stage projects.

but I always use max with ableton, so now I want to learn to do something like looping and recording-transforming real wordl sounds, but not starting from zero.

with max it’s helped me a lot to have lots of example patches (from others people works) to take as a starting point…

thats what I need with msp!

NB: to say that the abstraction in question is *messy* would be an
