I created a simple stripped down sampler following the ideas in MSP tutorial #20.

It works exactly as I wanted - EXCEPT... the playback starts off fine, but within a few seconds I get pops, clicks, or stuttering sounds.

At first I thought the problem was the division of the incoming note over the base note that adjusted the playback rate. But, wired up with only direct 1.0 sig~ and still did not work.
