A StepSequencer with features for analog-like / old-school sequencing and LFO/API modulation.
It is build on top of Live’s standard StepSequencer, with the following features:

# Tab selection for All, Note, Velocity, Duration, Freq and Res (top/left section)
- All, Note, Velocity, Duration are identical to Live’s original StepSequencer. Click (or used pre-mapped controls) to change
- Freq and Res are for use of modulating other devices in live (require additional add-on modules “Step CC-Freq”, “Step CC-Res” and/or “Step CC-Mod”
- “Step CC-Freq” chained after the StepSequencer gets the Freq value and through Live’s API uses it to modulate a device/parameter of choice
- “Step CC-Res” chained after the StepSequencer gets the Res value and through Live’s API uses it to modulate a device/parameter of choice
- “Step CC-Mod” chained after the StepSequencer gets a CC number and through Live’s API uses it to modulate a device/parameter of choice. CC 18 is for Freq, CC 19 is for Res.
- Pre-mapped controls as specified below
- “Step CC-Mod” can be used as standalone as well for any CC to modulate a device/parameter of choice.
- The step sequencer can be used as an LFO only using Freq/Res tabs.
# Scale/Chord based modifiers (top/center see “modf” label). This allows probabilistic variations in sequence according to a given scale (note in step 1 as the key).
- menu for type of scale
- menu for frequency/amount of notes for choice (“never” set’s the modifiers off)
# Input MIDI note to shift the entire sequence according to the input (arpeggiator-like)
- The reference is a C0 (24)
- An input of, let’s say, E0 (28) shifts the sequence of +4 notes
# Toggles for selecting layers (1-8, section immediately on the right of the sequence view).
- The additional toggle “add” allows more layers on top of each other
- Pre-mapped controls as specified below for quick launch
# Swing section (identical to Live’s original StepSequencer)
- Swing off/on toggle
- Swing quantization
- Swing amount
# Functions button (apply to all steps)
- pitch up/down
- velocity up/down
- duration up/down
- Freq up/down
- Res up/down
- Previous/Next sequence (= layer)
- Zoom in/out (piano keyboard zoom)
- View up/down (piano keyboard up/down)
# Special Toggles
- “thru” allows all CC’s numbers to be sent through (out, recommended)
- “freq/res” allows the CC forAPI modulation of Freq/Res values (with “Step CC-Freq”, “Step CC-Res” and/or “Step CC-Mod”)
# Loop point
- Use the bar amove the seuquence to set points
- Pre-mapped controls as specified below for quick selection
# Arrows / R buttons (bottom) as from Live’s original step sequencer
- Shift 1 step left / Shift value up / Shift value down / Shift 1 step right / Randomize value
# Import/Export of presets for sequences (right-most section)
- Copy/Paste for copying/pasting a sequence (inclusive of all parameters)
- Reset to set all values to default
- Red Buttons for storing preset
- Green Buttons for recalling preset
- Read to import saved presets
- Write to export presents
- Clear to clear the bank
- Preset file is stored in live set with device
- Pre-mapped controls as specified below

Note: to be able to use “pre-mapped” controls (like a NanoKontrol as I use with it) arm the track for recording.

Just copy the device somewhere and load it on a track
Use read/write for Import/Export of presets (right-most section)
