I'm looking for a good way to stream data to file in a Max patch. The data packets enter the patch at 60 Hz from a udpreceive object and each contains two floats.

It seems JavaScript can be used for this, but an article on the Cycling site says: "for timing sensitive events the js and jsui objects should not be used." (
