subpatching

October 20, 2009 | 5:10 pm

This may seem like a simple question but i have looked for the answer all over and just can not seem to figure it out.

if i have a chain of objects in the main window and want to put them all in to a sub patch, can i select them all and press a few keys and put them all in like that, where it makes all the inlets and outlets for you too? rather than having to copy and paste it all in then have to connect every thing up again.

I am sure i saw some one do it some where before but i cant for the lfe of my remember where or how.

Thanks

i think its worth compiling a list of pretty common things like this and then making a video of how to use them (please tell me this hasn’t been done already) like a getting started kind of thing

then put a big link at the top of the forums!
