subtex?

July 31, 2008 | 3:44 pm

hi all.

i’ve been trying to wrap my head around how the new subtex features in
jit.gl.texture work, so i can use a non-javascript solution for 3d
buffers, and i’m completely confused.

does anyone have any other patches using this capability, aside from
the almost completely opaque subtex.3d patch?

i have quite a few questions.

1) is a shader required to access individual subtex layers?
2) can i do cross-sections?
3) are there more hidden, undocumented aspects to this?
