well I’m still on Max 5– so this is a max 5 question.

I’ve made a standalone with custom menu using the menubar object. I have also configured all my sub-patch windows to not have a menubar using (window nomenu) to [thispatcher] where appropriate.

The only place I want my menubar is in the parent patcher window. This is the case, except for coll editor and the editor window for the text object.

I’m using Max on the Windows platform (win 7). This is not a problem with macintosh, There don’t seem to be any attributes I can change to suppress the menu.

Is there a secret message to max i can use for this perhaps?
