i like to synchronise a record~  with a wave~ who apply an enveloppe to the signal input on the record~.

but when i connect the record~ sync output to the first inlet of a wave~. the record~ stop !!!

where is my problem, why record~ stop when i connect his sync output ?

Max sees your signal going into record~, and then the signal coming out of record~ going back into wave~ as a feedback loop(even though the purpose and implementation of the 2 signals is entirely different(one is audio input, the other is for sync)). you won't even be able to do this properly by trying to cheat and using send~ and receive~ because it will still see it as a feedback loop and create a signal-vector's worth of delay.

what you want is to look into using poke~. you have a phasor~ in your patch to start with, that's good. Now look into helpfile and docs on poke~ and figure out how to drive both the poke~(recording) and the wave~(playback) from the one phasor~. this is how proper sync, enveloping, and recording are normally achieved in Max all-at-once. there are probably a number of other solutions, but this is the one you should start out with to learn the details of synchronizing everything together.
