has anyone tried synching to logic using rewire?

the hostphasor~ object seems ok, but i need hostsync~
to give me accurate information about the sample count
or bar/beat position. i can’t really see the point of
this data (especially sample count) if its not at
sample rate? the data out of hostsync~ seems to wander
about, giving values beyond loop points.

i just need a signal rate play position from
rewire~….is it possible?

cheers

Ive been struggling with the same issues recently, and just posted about it
a couple days ago, with no answer.

Im trying to get communication between Max/MSP and a host app, with
bidirectional control and feedback, like if you, say, rewire
Reason to Live… you can have full control pretty much in either.

maybe if we cant get any response we can try and help each other between
what knowledge we have…
