I've been reading the various threads on sample accuracy and loop synchronization for a few months now and learned a lot from the threads. The attached patch I thought would work to synch 4 loops but after a while (a dozen or so repeats) it starts to really get out of phase. The attached patch is based on code from a lot of the threads over the last year or so. I hope someone can shed some light on this. I'm using 5.08.

The patch still goes out of sync to my ears. I am using sound files from the Power FX construction kits to test with because they should be cut for looping. After a while I will hear at least one loop shift maybe it is physiological.

I load each buffer with a file from the construction kit, set volumes and sync lock and then turn on the dac. I've tried turning the sync lock first and that seems to improve it but it just takes longer to notice it. It's not horrible but I wanted to see if anyone else heard it. If you have the FX construction kits included with Peak and have a few minutes to try it, let me know if it happens to you.

The patch I posted is a test patch to try and sych multiple loops with a master phasor. I am using the same sync approach for a live instrument looping patch I'm working on for live improvising. The patch uses a lot of ideas posted to the forum from you, AndrewB. timlloyd, stefan tiedje, and many others whom have been sharing their looping patches and posting examples in the forum for the last couple of years.

I'm using index~ because I'm using a variant of AndrewB's overdub looping patch in my live looper patch even though I don't really need the overdub capability.

try to put in the exact same audio files in these multiple buffers you have. this way you can hear really good if they get out of sync, at first it will sound like a phasor effect wich then later on slowly evolves in a delay.

i must say i have lost very much time struggling with rate~ objects when i tried chaining them up wich brought me to avoid chaining up multiple rate~s. i also spent a lot of time experimenting with different modes.

unfortunately i don't have the time to take a loot at your patch but keep your progress posted, maybe later on i will.

Actually I did that and it seems fine. When I think I hear phasing it is very subtle. So for my purposes it should be fine.

I'm curious because your wrote that you struggled with chaining rate objects and experimented with different modes. If you have some time it would be great to understand what you found and maybe you could post an example or two.
