I'm playing a track with sfplay~ and I want a sequencer to be synced with it. I'm using transport at the moment because that seemed the most conveniant way...but I'm coming into issues with sfplay and the transport going out of sync when I change windows. Should I scrap transport altogether and go for a different method. But then transports got really useful features...

Sometimes I just want to scream COME ON MAX YOU'RE DESIGNED FOR THIS WHY CAN'T YOU MAKE SOMETHING AS BASIC AS TIMING SIMPLE and scrap the whole massively inefficient clicky boxy patchy paradigm and code everything. But then I remember why I'm still using Max even though I half despise it...it's irreplaceable. I feel trapped by it sometimes.
