Synthesis in MaxMSP

February 20, 2008 | 12:14 pm

Hi guys

I just wanted to know, what is the simplest type of synthesizer that can be built in MAXMSP, out of the examples on this page:

http://www.sonicspot.com/guide/synthesistypes.html

And can anyone point me to some good MaxMSP resources?

Then i’ll build one :D

Thanks Guys,

Steve

Well, if you take a look that the MSP tutorial,
you’ll find at least one example of both additive
and FM synthesis, complete with patches. Very useful,
those tutorial things.

I knew of the tutorials, thanks. My question was what are the simplest to build on this page:

I wrote some tutorials on additive and other spectral synthesis methods here:

If you look at the MSP tutorials and those of Mark Phillips you will find
that most of these are already built and easily copied and modified.
