Teabox sensor + Fireface 400 + M4L issues

August 17, 2010 | 2:18 pm

Hi_

I am hooking up the Teabox interface + photo cell sensor (XLR entry 1 Teabox) through my Fireface 400 audio card while using the TeaboxOne M4L patch.

The Fireface is running in Slave mode (see pic)

I receive sensor data in the M4L TeaboxOne patch on 1 (and all the other channel behave erratic), but shows some spikes from time to time.

Any advice is welcome.

Cheers

So, the data is now flowing in nicely.
Teabox entry xlr nr 1 with photo cell – and accurately presented in teabox decoder software (see pic).S/PDIF is channel 9 in the RME fireface 400. Seems to work correctly.

But the spikes in M4L teaboxOne remain.
It has something to do with the fireface i guess.
any suggestion is welcome!

The sensor data from the Teabox 2wards the fireface got mixed with some values from the fireface in M4L.

keep on searching

There is an issue opened regarding this here: http://github.com/electrotap/Teabox/issues#issue/1

Seems to be a problem with the Max external for Live. Hopefully not too hard to fix…
