newb here with a question regarding tempo and syncing.

my goal is to make just a simple glitch hop kick drum fill, but have everything stay in sync (modeselektor is a big influence) so nothing gets out of place. below is just a simple idea of how i could control it with a midi pot.

the only thing i could think of was using a gate with tempo. is there any other object i could look at or a way around this that that anyone suggests? also i plan to be triggering waveforms, trying to build an 8 channel live looper. i've also attached a sound clip of what i'm trying to do. appreciate any help thrown my way.

tempo-syncing newbie question
