hello,

checkout mbrola, speech synthesis thingie:

http://www.maxobjects.com/?v=objects&id_objet=2656&requested =voice&operateur=AND&id_plateforme=0

there are other externals on http://www.maxobjects.com , try to search for ‘speech’
or ‘voice’

maybe you could even build one yourself, record voice pronouncing various
digits and combine afterwards? (f.e. to pronounce 21, one would play file
‘twenty’ and right after that one, one with ‘one’…english is so funny

If you need prerecorded samples, maybe there’s something on
http://www.freesound.org?

best,
nesa

Hi,
There are some externals on Norman Jaffe site that allow max to
interface with Mac’s own speechmanager:

cheers,
Justin

Hello,

I would personally advice the MBrola binary controlled with the shell
external. You can then write and remove temporary audio files.

Smart!Thank you very much,I will probably use the prerecorded sounds
