is scripting the only way to update a comment content ? delete, create
new and so on ? because, as you know, text formatting is not really
working on winMax (don’t know for mac), and the layout becomes screwed
when you update…

Scripting yes, but you can simply modify the text of an existing
comment box. There are examples of doing this (for instance) in the
Litter Power Help files (the version info at the bottom right of each
file is generated dynamically).
With this approach, the comment box width doesn’t change, the boxes
just grow downwards if needed. I think. Might be just a tiny bit easier

Ok. Thanks for the tips. But meanwhile i choose a shwo/hide/bringtofront
Works good till now.
umenu’s label mode can be useful, depending on what you want. you can
do the same trick with ubumenu and a bit more formatting.
