So I noticed that when I open my patch all of my textedit's have been outputting as if there was a loadbang on them. Is there a way to switch this off?

ok so now I found that even my number objects are doing it....

I'm guessing you are using autopattr? Unless you set autorestore to 0, the last saved value will be output from any pattr-ized object.
