working off the uitextfield example in the Max/MSP/Jitter SDK, I coded my own object which supports textfield. In my object the text is supposed to appear in the center of the box (I mean both the horizontal and vertical center), so with the help of :

textfield_set_justification(textfield, JGRAPHICS_TEXT_JUSTIFICATION_CENTERED)

my text now appears in the center. Great.

The problem I am having is that when the user is inserting or editing text from the keyboard, the text snaps to the top part of the object box. Just to be clear, I am talking about this portion of code:

It is only when the user actually enters the text (by pressing return or enter) that it snaps back to the center.

So, is there a way to keep text justification as initially set by 

 even during insert and edit operations ?
