I've searched extensively throughout this site and the internet to no avail.

I'm trying to load an .OBJ file with jit.gl.model, as described in tutorial 36, where it is said that an .OBJ file's texture map coordinates are to be specified by way of a 3d software.

I'm using SketchUp, and every texture from every model I import is either absolutely misplaced, or only the first group in a multi-group model is rendered correctly. I'm aware the problem resides in the .OBJ syntax, but I'm already way beyond my limits.

Also, the idea behind this is to render a texture on an object only when it is at a certain point from an hypothetical projected image-light.

Attached are simple .OBJ files, with and without texture map definitions.

Please, if anybody is versed on this, help me!

when i load with_texture_map_definitions.obj in the jit.gl.model help file, the model shows up correctly texture-mapped.

The problem is that I mean to render any ordinary texture loaded by [jit.gl.texture], following the same edge and vertex coordinates by which the original texture was rendered. In other words, if a given texture fits 3 times vertically through the object, I want to load any texture with [jit.gl.texture] and see it wrapped 3 times around the rendered model.

Instead I can oly see a fragment of the texture.

It appears to me that [jit.gl.model] is kind of unstable.
