Thanks! A Synthesis Tutorial

I have been working on a Synth Tutorial aimed at a beginner level (as part of my Masters Degree and to aid with teaching BTEC – 16-18years old). I have taken loads of great advice from the forum and I was hoping to offer this work, all fully finished and perfected…

And well, thankfully, the OSX version works a treat, here is the link if you would like it as a standalone app: http://www.timcanfer.co.uk/synthtutmac.zip

But, unfortunatly, the collective now opens in two windows, which throws up a few pattr warnings:

And really weirdly, for the xp version on any xp machine other than the one I built it on, there are audio problems due to it apparently missing much of the contents of the dac window:

Any help with these problems and any feedback in general would be greatly appreciated – obviously feel free to use and distribute!

Thanks again
Tim Canfer

Concerning the dac window, you could make a new object saying “DSP Status” (including the quotes). In that way the required objects are included in the mxf or standalone.

Thanks for the reply, how would I do that?

At the moment I just get dac status: No such object in the Max window. (Although I am working on mac the the moment)
