According to Google, there are only four states who search for maxmsp or cycling74 on the internet:

Well, I'm in Utah (not mormon) and I'm search all the time. By the way, I just found out that the University of Utah teaches a couple of music classes (technology) using Max.

@stefan the states who don't care about security? all the security geeks i know are from california & new york.

anyway, obviously not an authoritative search, but i found it amusing. also, google's stats are relative, so states that fall below a threshold don't show in any case.
