So, I'm new to Max/MSP, and I'm trying to make a program that reads were a song has moderate silence, showing me the time in miliseconds it ocurres, and the duration of the silence in milisecods. Sounds pretty easy, right? Well, what I'm trying to do is to be able to do so without playing any audio, instead I want my program to read this information through the waveform based on Amplitude/time. It sounds to me that it should be pretty easy to do, since Max/MSP allows me to graph this waveform, it should be really easy to extract this type of information from it.

My intention is to make this process faster, since my intention is to be able to do this with a lot of audio files.
