Everytime I try to create an object (eg an efunc) on the timeline max quits itself. This occurs both with and without overdrive enabled.

I've tried this on two seperate machines and it happens consistently both are G5's using max/msp 4.6.3, I've attached a crash report but I assume this is a known bug.

I'm also open to alternatives to the timeline if possible, if I could change my max patches parameters as Logic progresses through time that would work or some 3rd party timeline external for max would be ok too.

going to be moot in '08 with max 5, gone and good riddance, it never really worked the way it should have. Timeline was never stable, just an interesting idea. It may come back though.... kudos to the programmers, it's not trivial...

Hope there are some future developments with this... some kind of draggable "chunks" of info on multiple tracks, like bpfunctions, tables, etc. that will then apply their data as they are "played". Essentially what timeline's original idea was. Probably could be done to a degree in an abstraction, interested to see what people have come up with.
