This should be so easy, but I’m confused – I have a patcher object in my Max program and I want it to open without a toolbar visible…
I’ve managed to make my main screen do this no problem from within the Inspector, but how can a make a subpatcher do the same?
Anyone able to help?

It works in the same way as you did with your main patcher, using the inspector (or the toolbarvisible 0 to thispatcher). Keep in mind you have to save and reopen the patch before seeing any change.

hmmm I’m not sure what to do here.
I’ve tried using the following patch with the toolbarvisible message to the patcher object, and it changes the state of the “show toolbar on open” checkbox in it’s patcher inspector, but it doesn’t actually show/hide the toolbar of the patcher window.
possibly a bug?
——-just saw Johan’s response, didn’t realise a save-reopen was needed, ignore the bug possibility———
still….it would be more convenient if it worked immediately
