I apologise in advance for a naive question.

I've just got Live9 with Max6, and each of the Launchpad related patches I've downloaded fail to work.

Is this because they were all written for Max5, and Max6 is fundamentally different ?

Or is there just a minor difference which with slight amendments to the existing patches they would work again?

A specific example would be the Launchpad StepSequencer by Novation, which looks great, loads fine, but none of the buttons do anything (despite lighting up)
