Tracing error messages (max 5)

When one of my objects prints an error in Max 5, the error shows up in the “Message” column of the Max window. However, the object name is not shown under the “Object” column, and my object that sent the error message cannot be traced. Is there any special code required to make third party objects behave like built-in Max objects in this regard?

Yes. It’s a special error() method which takes a pointer on the
object. More info when the SDK is out. Thanks for your patiente.
