sorry my answer was a mess.
if you track the red, your camera will also pick the projected image
and you will get feedback. ir is projector safe so i thought you ment
you need it.
i reread and see u ment by the lens having an ir filter glued. if you
wont to track color it should not worry u. but i would reconsider
tracking color.
if its just one of the primary colors you can get away with this by
projecting a limited color pallet and choke the rest by using hsl
color space, look atg the archive, it was discussed
