Tracking objects problem: have an available budget to solve this

Hello,

I want to track six objects outside, (carried by humans) getting regular information about their position sent back to a Max patch.

We have had problems in the past doing this with a top down camera outside – blob numbers get mixed up when people pass too close to each other or are obscured. Sunshine levels will also vary, which may cause difficulties.

If you have an idea how to achieve this, perhaps with some other sensor system we have a budget to pay someone to sort this out for us.

Any help you can offer will be gratefully received!

Would the Crickets sensors help? We can add something to the objects being carried easily enough.

best wishes

What sort of range and precision do you need?
