TRIGGER AUDIO FILES TO ARDUINO

Hi there
Im an audio technology student who is combining arduino with maxmsp to trigger audio files. I have a rough idea how to do this, the trouble im having is the code i would need to use to trigger said audio files within my patch. Is there certain objects i should be using? i know by using a ’1′ to toggle the audio files on and off but i am struggling to put this all together. I have the maxuino patch to communicate between both softwares.
Any help would be appreciated.

What sensors are you using with your Arduino? What objects are you using to play audio files in your Max patch?

this is all a bit vague. You need to describe the current functionality and the expected functionality. What data, if any, are you getting into Max? Where is your patch example? Why is it not working as expected?

If you need help you will get it here, but not this way; all you will get is accusations of laziness :(
