Hi,

Im looking for a way to trigger animations i made in AE out of Illustrator layers with MIDI.
Basically i just want to press a button on my MIDI Keyboard -> this should result in a sound getting played in ableton + an animation is getting triggered.

I came across this patch:

http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=181

but unfortunately i need to overlay multiple videos (or layers) with alpha channels over each other, so that more animations can happen in the same frame, and the animation started before should carry on. (if that makes sense…)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
