Triggering a video with colour recognition

I am relatively new to Jitter and am currently working on a project where a quicktime movie is triggered when a certain colour is detected by the patch from a firewire camera. I have followed Tutorial 25 and understand that I need to include jit.findbounds, but still have no idea how to make this trigger a video to start when the colour is detected.

Thanks in advance.

If you’ve got it working up to the findbounds stage, you could put a compare function on one of the outputs, like a [> -1] (-1 being what findbounds spits out if it doesn’t find anything), send that to whatever message you want- like a “rate $1″ or something. Happy patching!
