Triggering GUI object upon pattrstorage preset modification?

Hello,

I would like to output the envelope from a function object when this envelope is modified by interpolation between pattrstorage’s presets. Can I achieve this without having to set a cable between my pattrstorage preset subpatch and the function object?

I used a pattr for it, have a look at this recent thread with an additive synth patch:
