This is my first post on the forum and I am very new to Max / Jitter, so thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
I am wanting to create a patch that uses a laser pen (red) to play sounds via a live camera. So the camera would be facing a wall which would have a picture of a woman singing, a man singing and a violin being played, all in black and white. Then when people in the room shine the red laser pens on to the different pictures it plays the sounds. So it would also be useful if the sounds could play simultaneously, creating a layer of the ethereal sounds.
I am thinking that using the ‘jit.scissors @ columns 3 @ rows 1′ would be a good idea to split up the camera into 3 separate parts, and then somehow make each of the 3 parts play its own sound when it picks up the red laser. Can anyone help me with how to do this or direct me to a more suitable way?
